DON’T EVEN BOTHER GETTING A QUOTE. New Planet Moving & Storage is unprofessional, rude and will tack on additional charges every opportunity they can. They came on time to pick up my things at my old house but that is probably the only thing they did right. Receiving our stuff was a NIGHTMARE. They deliver your stuff when it is most cost effective for them to do so. I am not sure why they even bother asking you when you would like to receive your things. We called every other day checking up on our drop off. Unapologetically they kept pushing back our expected delivery date. Their driver finally gave us a call nine days after the expected arrival time. Over the phone the driver stated the he would be in town by the next afternoon for the drop-off. I missed a half day of work waiting for their arrival. Not surprisingly, they decided to CANCEL the drop-off last minute. They cancelled because they did not reserve a smaller truck in time. They needed to transfer our things from their semi to a smaller shuttle (although we told them well in advance that we would probably need to use their overpriced shuttle service ). They verbally said over the phone that they would waive the stair fees for the inconvenience, but of course it was ANOTHER LIE. They FINALLY show up the day after they said they were coming, in the middle of the day, without advance notice. They refused to even lift a finger until we paid the remaining deposit, the $300 shuttle fee and the $125 stairs fee (the one they said they would waive). It was a very stressful and deceitful experience. Find another moving company.

One star is still to much credit! If you are not in a hurry for your stuff, don't want your stuff or want it damaged you have picked the right movers! I used them just glad I bought insurance with another company. This company is terrible. Talk about a headache! More than half my items never where delivered. When speaking to a manager he told me to open my eyes because everything was delivered. So I must have misplaced a section of my couch, my bike, two dinning room chairs in my butt hole! More than half of my boxes in plastic containers where missing as well. Seems that the more expensive items never found my home. I was told that everything is put on the trunk and will be removed at my new place. WRONG they ended up taking it to Vegas unpacking and repacking my items to a smaller truck. To top it off it took another week for another truck to bring a few more items. I was told everything would not fit in this truck load. HORRIBLE Experience! Took a year minus one week to get reimbursed for my items. Had to resubmit a few items more than once.
