ILS Relocation

This was my first time experiencing movers. They sent 3 excellent hardworking individuals; Jamal, Forest and Christian. However all my belongings in the storage unit had to be all wrapped with paper or put in a box to load up into the giant crates in the truck. The work ended up being much longer than expected, being close to 5hrs with no breaks. My 3 larger items did not fit into one crate and and the end they explained to me that they had to use a bigger crate from the warehouse.

No delivery window the day before. I had to call the morning of just to get an estimate and was told 11am–1pm. No show. At 1:08pm I was told “soon.” At 3:00pm I was told the truck was already at the Fort Knox main gate and would be there by 4:30pm. At 5:09pm the actual driver called and said he was still 35 minutes away, so apparently the Fort Knox main gate is less of a place and more of a philosophical concept. At 6:22pm after I’d spent the entire day waiting on my own belongings, they showed up. At that point this moving company was starting to remind me of my ex. Every "update" just created more confusion, nothing lined up and by the end I had severe trust issues. The delivery crew themselves were great, but everything leading up to it was a scheduling and communication disaster. If Brandon and his office ran things half as well as the movers themselves, this review wouldn’t exist.
