Firefighters Move U

Updated review based on my second move in 6 weeks with this company. They hounded me for a positive review the first time, but now that a problem has developed, I have been ghosted. While the first move was excellent, the second was anything but -- it was the complete opposite. First to know is that on neither move did any firefighters/EMT/first responders move me. In fact, I was told by the first group that they didn't actually employ any such people. "They are probably somewhere in management". With the second move, they arrived on time, but that was the best of it. I paid a two hour minimum to have one piece moved. I had to explain to them how to get it out of the room. They seemed in a terrible rush -- took no time to pad or strap the item. It was an antique piece which was banged as it was taken out the door, then laid on a finished side and slid into place in the truck, then a finished side laid in wet grass in the destination yard before being again laid on a finished side on a concrete step. They threw my rugs around to get it in, banged the ceiling with the piece and then hit a window blind valence breaking it and rendering it unusable. On the drive from origination to destination, they drove recklessly, ran a red light and used a turning lane to pass other vehicles. The entire time took less than 50 minutes despite paying for two hours. It would have only taken an additional 10. minutes or so to properly pad/strap the item. Despite reaching out to the company and paying for moving insurance, I have not gotten a response. Overall, this was horrible experience, This particular piece had been moved 5 times previously by Wildcat without incident. I will be going back to Wildcat from now on.
