Delaware Moving & Storage

Horrible company, basically internet VULTURES! They spam you with moving paperwork, desperate for another "job" - fortunately, we're competent, and can pack and move OUR OWN belongings. I think the funniest thing is this: we live in a county they don't even service, and yet they're sending junk in the mail. Do yourself a favor, only hire a company that YOU call. If they're so desperate to get business, by sending out literature, they're not a company you want to do business with. Read some of the reviews below, and judge for yourself. They've broken things, been irresponsible and hard to deal with. Good, reputable companies don't need to beg for business.

From start to finish with this company it’s been a nightmare. From poor communication, to being late with the delivery, and finally, just the amount of items that we’re destroyed. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. They showed up to a big job short staffed. 3 guys to move 1.5 houses. Then, one guy only took inventory the entire time. They destroyed my daughters new bedroom set by not taking it completely apart and placing other items on top of it. Our sofa got wrecked, the guys who unloaded did the best they could to fix it. Overall, lots of broken items because of poor placement in the truck. The only positive part of this experience were the crew who came to unload. They worked fast and efficient. But overall, I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Terrible moving experience with a local move--hired this company to assist with packing the residuals of a house that had already been largely moved and a piano. I have a large array of valuable antiques and other items and had particular concerns hiring a mover generally. While I was reassured of the professionalism of the company, that turned out to not be the case. First, a number of the movers showed up smelling of marijuana on the job--that is not what I would expect from professional, courteous movers. Second, after the move, a number of items already in the new house were missing in a location where only the movers were working. When confronted about these concerns, the company conducted a cursory investigation and did not respond to my follow-up expressing disappointment with the experience, offer any refund, or attempt to do anything to make the situation right. The items remain missing. I would strongly urge anyone to find other movers in Delaware as my experience made clear that this company is not to be trusted with my valuables during a move.
