The workers were great! Hardworking and knew their stuff. Very pleased with the actual movers. Be careful with their pricing and moving quotes. They may quote a rate per hour up front then change it after they are done. In fact they increased by almost 75%.It happened with me. I would advised to get a contract in writing before using them.
Not only did they pad their time. They put heavier boxes on light boxes. Since you carried them up one by one, you knew the difference. Thanks for breaking my things after charging me $1550 for a $500 job.
Terrible consideration for property and complete lack of accountability. The crew padded their time, showed disrespect, and damaged a lovely old wicker chair then refused to admit it. I wasn’t even asking for reimbursement, just honesty and accountability, but instead I was called a liar. When I brought this up to the owner, he became aggressive, saying “If we were face to face you wouldn’t talk this way, you liar. I know my guys they don’t break shit.” As if it’s impossible for a moving crew to make mistakes.
