Bayshore Transportation System

Staff who did the moving on both ends were very nice, professional and hard working. However, in my opinion, Allied Bayshore played fuzzy math on the cost of my move from PA to FL. I was set to go with Garttmeyer, who I had confidence in from a prior move. I thought I should get multiple estimates on such a large expense, so I contacted Allied. Allied gave me a price for Labor, Valuation, Accessories, Packing and miscellaneous, which was very close to Garttmeyer, but Allied told me that their price was a ‘not to exceed’ price and if I packed my own stuff or the load was lighter than was estimated, I’d get a refund in the end. At my insistence, they refunded me about $300 upfront for an art box that I no longer needed, but they told me that all other adjustments must wait until the end. They also told me there would be no charge for a shuttle at the destination, which wasn’t needed anyway.

I used the company to move from Pennsylvania to Connecticut. Per the manager's suggestion, I got two storage units. Items were labeled and numerous discussions had with the entire team on the plan and where things were to go. EVERYTHING has been piled into one unit minus approximately 10 items. My belongings are piled so high I cannot access anything. I am a 71 year old widow and have NO idea how get my items out. The boxes I have seen are crushed. The manger Bill Haywood was unsympathetic and honestly didn't care. Now and I stuck paying for two units because it is physically impossible for me to start moving items myself. Do not hire them.
