Allen & Coles Moving Systems

I wholeheartedly do not recommend using Allen & Coles Moving Systems, doing business as an agent for Allied Van Lines, as an agent for North American Van Lines, or known as ABC Moving & Storage. I contacted Allied for a quote and in person consultation for a move from New Hampshire to Florida. The salesperson promptly came to our home to estimate the cost and outline the date of the move. He completely fulfilled the title of his role: he made the sale and assured everything would go smoothly. It did not. Although we had a signed contract and agreed upon pick up date, our shipment was not scheduled. I repeat: our shipment was not scheduled. On the date of our move we were told that our shipment was "double-booked" and there had been a mix up. From there, the communication was abysmal. The movers that did eventually arrive were courteous, efficient, and friendly. However, they were not surprised that my shipment was forgotten about. Our shipment arrived to Florida two weeks after the initial load date and three days after the agreed upon deadline. Moving is stressful, chaotic, and even the best laid plans, such as in my case, can be thrown to the wind in unexpected circumstances. I caution you when considering any moving company. Do your research. Go beyond the salesperson. Operate with your best interest in mind. Because this company will not do it for you.

I used this moving company through seniorsneed.club and Tyler Bryant, who has a partnership with them. I had a contract complete with a quote for a move from my apartment and storage unit to my new home. This contract included 2 trucks and 4 men. Came time for the move, 4 men show up with 1 truck an hour late. It took them 5 hours to empty an 1120 sq foot apartment and an additional 3 hours to unload, repack and reload the truck and empty my storage unit, which was already packed from the first move. Everything was delivered to my new home the next day. They were paid the quoted amount. During the course of the move, an expensive leather sleeper couch was scraped up and damaged, glass over a piece of art was shattered and various other pieces of furniture were banged up and scratched. I went back to Tyler in addition to John Kane (mover rep) with pictures of the damage which was also noted by the movers during the actual move.They were to arrange to have the damages repaired. After weeks of unanswered texts, emails and phone calls to Tyler (since I could not reach anyone at the movers), I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau and finally got a response from the moving company. They "claimed" that I owed them more money because they underestimated the move and the time it took and that they would be happy to repair what I needed once they were paid. Partner Tyler had stated that he worked out an arrangement with the movers: they would not receive any more money and they would make the repairs because I never got my 2nd truck and it had taken extra time to unload and reload the truck. I have seen or heard NOTHING from both the moving company as well as Tyler Bryant after his last email to me washing his hands of all of this. These are both SERVICE businesses!!!! Beware and do your due diligence for both this mover as well as his partner Tyler in seriorsneed.club.
