We just moved our household belongings into storage. 495 Movers gave us a competitive transparent price estimate with no surprises. The crew, Edwin, Miguel, and Mohamed, were all polite, careful, professional and efficient. I like their model of pricing the job according to the time worked. I would use them again.
Don’t use their moving company or storage. They were great the first time I moved after that I ended up with missing pieces of furniture, broken furniture, and a broken large screen tv. And boy did the guy in charge of the moving team have an attitude. Unfortunately, I was going through serious health issues and continue to do so. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the energy to pursue things in a timely manner. Don’t waste your money with them!
We had a very nice start to the day with what appeared to be an amazing and efficient team. They worked diligently, packing all of our belongings up for us. As the day went on, the movers made it to our new house with all of our stuff. As they were unloading everything into our new home, I began smelling alcohol on them. The smell lingered on them as they continued unloading all of the boxes. At the end of the evening, my husband went to the truck to do a final walk through. He then told me the truck smelled like whiskey. The following morning, we went back to our old home to pack up some loose items left behind. It was then that we noticed an empty vodka drink can sitting on our bathroom sink. The men went into our refrigerator during our move, took our personal alcohol, drank it and then LEFT an empty can in our home. You pay by the hour for this service and these men went into overtime on our townhome. When explaining to the owner of the company our frustrations over this, he said he would talk to the team. Of course, they would not take responsibility for their actions and therefore NOTHING was done. Moving is stressful enough, and now we are paying men overtime to drink our alcohol and move our belongings intoxicated. I will never recommend this company to anyone. Wish I had a better and more professional experience
